Hello to all! (my 3 fave systems)
« on: April 23, 2014, 04:33:59 PM »
Hi to all!! Ive been interested in playing roulette for about a year now, mostly for fun. I got really into it about 6 months ago when I found online casinos that I could send bitcoin to (bitcoin is a digital currency). I can send bitcoin instantly, no need to register an account and cash out instantly too. Its very user friendly. If you want some great roulette sites that accept bitcoin, let me know and I can either post them here (if it is allowable) or I can PM you the sites. And if you want more info on bitcoin I can also post the info and how to set up your own bitcoin wallet.

So I first started using a basic Martingale technique on red or black. I did not have much time to play and as you can guess I was successful. I then headed to Las Vegas this past December for a bitcoin conference and showed some friends the Martingale technique. Myself and two other friends each made a quick $100 and we stopped playing and used that money to buy food the rest of the conference. It was a fun time and all paid for thanks to roulette!

As you could imagine, I rushed home to play online roulette and lost some money with Martingale. I found out nothing lasts forever! So it got me wanting to learn more. I watched the roulette documentary about the Gonzalo Garcia Pelayo family (thanks Roulette 30!) which piqued my interest even more!

In the past few months Ive tried a lot of systems. Most of them fail me at some point. But I do have a few I like. I would love to hear comments about my three strategies I use.

#1 - Labouchere. This is the system I really started using and having some fun with. Not making big money, but making some money nonetheless. I was doing 5,5,5,5,5 = 25 and just betting on black. But, It could quickly get out of hand. I ended up with a 1,1,1,1,1 system and have done well with that. A goal of only $5 and then I play for several rounds aiming for the $5 outcome each time. Its not bad, but it takes some work.

#2 - My second system was to bet on the 3rd dozen. I have spent a lot of time writing down which dozen comes in. From my data I found that it was best to start betting after the 5th losing streak in a row. I employed a martingale tactic on this of 8 places. This left me with anything more than 13 and I would become a loser. And I did become a loser!

But my data showed the top betting spots were the 6th, 7th and 8th spots to bet. So after the 5th dozens loss in a row, I would only bet on those 3 right after the 5th loss. So 5,10,15 . It works. I have more wins then losses and yes its a grind but I can make $10-$100 a day on this in about an hour.

#3 - In an effort to maximize profit in a quicker amount of time :) :) :) I came across the double dozen method. I bet on the 1st dozen and the 3rd dozen. Whenever a dozen didnt come up after a spin I began an 18 level progression... 1,1,2,3,5,8,11,17,26,58,87,130,195,292,438,657,986 (a total of 2957)

I thought I was safe with 18 spots. I made plenty of money over this past week, but then..... drumroll.... I lost 2957. The string of not hitting the 3rd dozen lasted 22 times. Thankfully I am still up overall. But this has really got me thinking now. What if I had a progression of 25? Would I be safe? I should be safe at some point. I cannot imagine a dozen not coming up for 30 times in a row.

Any comments on my 3 systems I use would be beneficial, especially that last one. Thanks everyone!

Thanks for sharing your ideas and experiences. That is actually a 17 step progression.
My advice for the 3rd system: Just make the last 7 bets as follows: 80, 100, 130, 170, 220, 280, 350

Yes than will not be profitable for the session, if the hit comes lately, but it will limit your losses greatly in the rare event that you lose the progression and still give you the benefit of higher profit average per win against lower loss average per loss.
