Again with cheating? What are these *COUNTRIES* you refer to? Zimtrebalstin?

You might have a rogue dealer but the entire casino in on it? No way.

So far, Discipline is the top choice.
Out of 23 voters, the 14 have chosen discipline, as one of the top factors for successful play.

BET SELECTION - Play what's hot, or recent repeats.  So many times I've played for 6-8 hours straight and see the same couple numbers come up repeatedly.  Never play cold.

Play few numbers.  Playing 2 to 6 numbers offers a better chance of profiting on good variance when it comes your way.  Of course, good MONEY MANAGEMENT is important.

Because of the law of unequal distribution, numbers won't fall in line with expectation as they should in short term play.  Many numbers will go dead, while many repeat.  That means there may be long strings of losses, with short clusters of wins.  Take advantage of this!  I think a good PROGRESSION should be a gradual one, that progresses wagers after a win.

The ball lands next to my number often. I was cheated?

Top of the list for me is a good knowledge of probabilities. Everything else is secondary, because if you know how the game "works" in those terms then other factors can be judged accordingly e.g. hit & run, virtual bets, pressing when you win etc, bankroll size, money management in general and bet selections can all be assessed.

Discipline is also very important because you can be a statistical genius, but if you have no self-control at the tables you'll still lose.

So : 1. Good knowledge of probabilities. 2. Discipline.

Of course there are other factors such as determination, motivation, and a positive attitude which are necessary for success in any endeavour.

Scenario number 1... wheel is very good, almost unbeatable... like 1:20 case.  All other things suddenly fail... bank, determination, money management....
   So what is most important?

But how do you know when you have a "good" wheel? Only using probabilities can you correctly assess the fitness of a wheel.

No.

I have also seen some CRAZY bounces where I have won, it all equals out.

00 wheel, I was betting the 5. Over in the 6 section, the ball was about to settle. It takes the craziest bounce, goes back in the OPPOSITE direction it just came from and lands in my 5!

S**t happens.

Discipline is the one factor that is the cause of a win turning into a loss
What does discipline entail?
Setting rules for your game play and not compromising those rules at all. The more strict  you are about keeping to the rules the more rewarding your game will be. With discipline you can measure experience and measure your faults. When rules are bent to accommodate a hunch that you will win, you can not find reason for the loss as it smothered by excuses of why it didn't work out.
This is not to say that the rules you set yourself will turn you into a machanical/robotic player. An example is drinking while you play. Your game will be fine until you get wasted.

No. It has nothing to do with probabilities.
Just look ( for bias) and measure for vb.
That's all it takes. These who play often and know what they do..  all do like this.

The problem getting bigger when u make high bets , wagering straight numbers where the payout ratio is much bigger than to bet2/1 bets  their target would be high rollers ,casinos know what type of player u re its their job , and finally what they want is to take ur money no matter how much it is.
