Was wondering if I could get peoples opinions on ball reactions. what makes a ball from going straight into the pocket to looking like it picks up speed and landing in a different area and then also sometimes looking as if jumping back up out of the pocket and moving to a new area before landing? also there were a a few floaters called. some facts of the experience the dealer never adjusted the rotor speed by hand, female dealer wasn't spinning the ball extra fast or slow. the ball did not hit any of the ball deflectors to cause the odds spins.

Hi Blue
This is called " Scatter " and is IMO , the most important factor in where the ball will land. When the ball lands on the rotor it will hit a number of frets and bumps and bounces all over the place  before landing in a pocket..
Scatter happens to the dice in the game of Craps when the Dice hit the Wall of the Table.
Note
Frets are the dividers between the pockets of the wheel .
Pockets ? The space where the ball lands.
