##### Law of Third Idea!
« on: January 16, 2018, 12:37:53 AM »
Hi,

Since I am a fan of the chaos concept in roulette I was thinking of the following and tried it inside a small script I have in PHP.

Let's say we spin 37 times and we will get 23 or 24 unique numbers most on average right. Law of the third principle. When you evaluate the numbers that get spinned you'll notice that there are on average a third of these numbers, spinned twice or more.

What if you have 9 numbers spung twice or more and you start betting those numbers since the law of the third says that these numbers will get more hits and everytime you hit a number you'll remove that number until you have 3 or 4 numbers left. You should make a descent profit there I guess.

Example:
Bet 9 numbers
Bet 9 numbers and get a hit (now remove the hit number)
Bet 8 numbers
Bet 8 numbers
Bet 8 numbers and get a hit [/size](now remove the hit number)
Bet 7 numbers
Etc.

We can add progression on each level offcourse.

What's your opinion on this idea?

I think the key to the LotT is betting hot numbers.  Its seems to me like removing hot numbers and only betting those that haven't hit is defeating that purpose.  I personally like to only bet on the hottest group of numbers continuously and there will always be a hottest group in every spin history.

The longer the spin history, the more reliable the Law of the Third becomes as a bet selection tool.  The problem with attacking it early is that the long-term patterns it will establish are not yet known.  A system can still be used with short-term patterns, but it has to be very flexible and follow the long-term trends as they develop.

Jan using his GUT, is an expert at attacking short-term trends.

I meant to attack hot numbers. The numbers that get spung twice or more, on those numbers we bet. And when they get hit we remove them from the betting list so our number of bets decrease. And when we start with 9 bets we stop betting when we have hit 5 numbers.

A simple test you can do: note the repeats in a cycle of 37 spins. Track these numbers into the next 37 spin cycle. Repeat the exercise extensively.
The way I understand your approach is that you will play the repeats of the previous spin cycle in the new or current cycle, eliminating repeats as they hit. Is this right?

The numbers that get hit twice or more in the first 37 cycle you start betting. When they get hit you remove them from the bet list so your number of bets decrease indeed.

Interesting idea, thank you for sharing.

For testing why not try using roulette xtreme (use google to find it)

If you need a supply of spins, over at Steve's website Mortagon has topic where he has been posting daily spins
