Ya, its winning that counts the most, not how much or how fast. :)

Nice 3rd day doubling of bankroll, so that is 400 units then, huh?

I love the D'Alembert when applied inside and all of my systems use it in some form and all of them use a matrix for recovery.

My problem is bankroll.  I haven't figured out a way to keep it low in a manner that I consider safe. :(

Scroll down to the recovery sections.

Double the bankroll during the 3rd day includes the original bankroll. Target is 80 units a day.
Day 1: start 200 units End 280 units
Day 2: Start 280 units End 360 units
Day 3: Start 360 units End 440 units
Day 4: Start 440 units End 520 units
Day 5: Start 520 units End 600 units

At this point you could consider increasing the value of your unit. In my case it would be from R10.00 to R25.00. So 600 units X R10.00 = R6000.00
R6000 .00 รท R25.00= 240 units.

Day 6: Start 240 units End 320 units
Day 7: Start 320 units End 400 units

And so on. At the end of day 7 my bankroll is 400 units x R25.00 = R10 000.00. Increase the unit value to the next level only when you have enough funds to have over 200 units at that unit value as illustrated at the beginning of day 6.

Reyth, Although I use progressions I'm not a big fan of chasing a small win with big money to get ahead in one string of bets.

I took time to watch Charles King's videos from the first to number 46. As you go through these videos you see how he introduces different moves to increase the frequency of wins. He covers a group of number with minimum chip placement to start with and builds on that using the D'alembert progression... eg For DS it's +1 on a loss and -5 on a win. His two dimensional betting grid is good as it keeps wagers low. I have used his grids and have modified one or two to suit my requirements.

The system or systems are your choice. There are so many good systems on this forum you could use to win 10 units per session.

The post is more about the level of play and money management to win small amounts to grow your bankroll.

This was my first post on the forum.

When I walk into a casino I have a game plan and I set out to accomplish the bottom line of the game plan or alternatively avoid the risk of total failure by sticking to my daily loss limit.

The method of play is important but because I am a B/M system/strategy player I have only mentioned that. All player types can benefit from setting up a business plan to have roulette pay you a monthly income.

I have outlined the initial concept of growing your bankroll from a minimum of 200 units. Control and discipline are crucial to establishing this business. Your initial investment of 200 units is not yours to do with as you please. Your job is to grow this bankroll over an estimate of 60 playing days. Every day will not yield the same results but if your winning days outnumber your losing ones by a fair margin you will have enough cash to sustain your business. From this point begin paying yourself an income on a basis that meets your needs.

If during your quest you have increased the value of your chips from 10 to 25 then to 50 and you hit a bad streak of losses, simply revert back to the 25 value chips and build up again. Life happens, so only in case of emergencies do you draw from your roulette business fund.

A large business fund will allow for those bad days as simply a business overhead. You can even make more and invest it in other interests or invest in gold. Living off cash is way better than living off debts to the banks and retailers. In life the banks, retailers and loan companies hold the house edge over your income. People suffer when the markets turn volatile.

I am close to 1600 session wins in a row.  Most of the wins are small. and that's  is partly due to the rules on the NOZ, as we must end the session on plus, not minus, as the catch up recovery are counted as win, and are taxed by the rules.

It is mostly not more than 10 Euro, but a few can be much larger, and I have had long sessions  with just a few cents.

As long the  win is more than the loss I think it is OK. I never thought of make my living on it, even if it could have been possible during some periods at least.

I did a 170 spins session this evening, which won 3 cent  (see pic).  :P

Lol. If you're playing one cent games on your PC then you are barking up the wrong tree.

Just to add... wit and sarcasm are okay now and then but too much of it becomes a pain in the butt.

Take your one cent game and work to earn ten units per session. Play eight sessions a day. Do not use your winnings. Grow your bankroll. It may take you longer to reach the self sustainable point but you will get there.  If you fail check to see that your PC game is not rigged. Start again.

Playing with small money is a good and fun way to test a strategy. You are much more into it, your brain is more alert and your observations wider and deeper than simply playing it on paper or excel.
