So from this I see Immersive is recommended,  but others say to avoid the studio only wheels?

IF physical roulette wheel results can be "manipulated", it can be done equally easy to both, casino and studio wheels. I personally see no difference. The deciding factor is the trustworthiness of the company you are dealing with.

And how do you think they manipulate it Kav, if they do? I would have thought in an empty studio the use of magnets or some other trickery would be much easier than in a live casino with punters gathered around the wheel/table?

Even in my house B&M casino I do not trust the real roulette after changing  the roulette by the newest Cammegh roulette with new advantaged software. Sensors measure the rotor and ball velocity and the camera register the bets on the table.
What you see on internet can be also illusions. Changing the pictures makes this very easy.

I have some questions about online as a newbie that only plays online. Here in Germany I am still not that attracted to the "atmosphere" of real gaming locals, they are very often a meeting point for all kinds of "non-busy" people. Not that I am that easy to scare, but the atmosphere is not nice at all and their bad reputation also makes me think about the "what if" I meet somebody I know (my boss, a familiar, a friend) when exiting such a local... Low odds for that to happen, but possible  :) More "serious" casinos are not that usual and require a formal dressing code, are not a place to stop by spontaneously.

So, for my first steps into this world, I chose online casino. Although I don't like the feeling at all of not "controlling" what is being offered to me. After watching the shocking videos from NetEnt, I have some questions that maybe more expert users can help me with:
1. Aren't these casinos very strictly controlled by law?
2. In the scenario that they do cheat you, as it seems... Is the player for real on a gaming session with 200 users, as they state when you enter or is it just an illusion? One can also see the real time feed on the left bottom corner, stating who won how much... How will then the roulette possibly cheat? They aim at the players with higher stakes? Or calculate the number which will bring less winnings, all bets accounted?
For example, at the NetEnt video: is the house then playing specifically "against" this player with the 35k or is it playing against "everybody" and bringing a number almost nobody bet on? Or are they offering him a player-specific simulation of a game, at which others appear to win (also a lie) and he always loses?

I am still testing, therefore playing "for fun" with diminute chips (20c), so I don't think that they are running against me, I am quite for sure the smallest at the table :) ... But, if they cheat, I am for sure being affected by the hits distribution they are offering to me and not being able to test "for real" some nice systems...
I have to say that I have already observed A LOT of awkward hit sequences during the 30 days I am playing (and only from day to day... so maybe 10x sessions of 2 hours each). I have seen a lot of above 10 blacks being drawn on a row or sequences such as 21-19-20-21-x-x-21, or the same number being hit 5 times on a run of 50 turns... I was always feeling quite unease with it, but after reading this forum deeply and watching the videos...  :-[ :-[

Each live table is the same for many online players.

Each live table is the same for many online players.

Same applies for RNG? (also showing a live feed on the corner with other player's wins)

There is a poster on this forum called REAL - The other day in a thread he said one should never play on a roulette game where one is not allowed to bet after the croupier has released the ball.

I think this is the best advice to protect oneself and should always be used in deciding where to play.

We don't want it to be true but watch the BlackJack video for example that is 100% irrefutable proof of cheating.

You can see how he rubs the card first and then second deals.

So once you accept that is real then of course the Roulette can be cheated too.

I used to play a little bit of poker online and the same sh!t happens there with insane action packed flops.

What I will say now and it won't be popular and I will be accused of being anti semitic but the fact of the matter is that if you research who is behind these gambling outfits more often than not they are run by Jews.

If Israeli agents can do stuff like crack iphone encryption or create the Stuxnet virus then I'm sure cheating people out of roulette winnings is a trivial task.

I'll leave you with one final thought....

Last year during my gambling adventure in Asia I was playing at a small casino in the Philippines where they had one real roulette wheel and one airball roulette wheel.

On the real wheel the maximum bet for any even chance was 2000 Pesos yet on the airball roulette the maximum bet for any even chance was 10,000 pesos.

What possible honest reason can there be for that?

OK, I tried again at auto roulette (RNG) in order to continue testing the dozens system. Last time I am ever playing that kind of roulette, promised  ;D ;D

I observed 75 turns... Yes, at some point I just simply sat, observe and note numbers, didn't even dare to bet... And during those 75 turns I saw:
- A sequence of 14 turns with 13 times the same dozen (L), with the following sequence:  2-4-12-2-5-2-4-3-11-17-7-7-1-1.  I PROMISE, I AM NOT LYING  ;D ;D
- A sequence with 10 blacks on a row, for a total of 15 blacks out of the last 18 turns
- Other "fun sequences" such as: 15-8-15-8 or 20-28-20-15-23-22-20

And all of that only at 75 turns.

So, now it is very clear to me, not using this system anymore, the "random" generator is clearly programmed to generate such groups. This can't be a coincidence, not a chance.

From now on, either live dealer (which I know is not 100% trustworthy, but better than this piece of software) or live stream from a real casino. This amusement fortunately only costed me 3 Euro loss, so I can feel quite lucky of having learned the lesson this cheap.

PS. In case that you wanna know, it was EvolutionGaming roulette at a top-5 sport betting website.

That's what I'd like to know, I see nothing suspicious. If patterns like that continued for dozens of spins, then maybe yes.

Nobody can know everything, but if you win every time you should expect the wheel is rigged.  They do from some not well regulated casinos that, if you blog your result.

I am now afraid to reply... if somebody as expert as you are says they are OK...  :-\
I just find "curious" that only in 75 spins I had almost exclusively such distributions and almost no period of more normal distributions of 33-33-33% of the different thirds. Also seeing 9 times numbers lower than 5 within 14 spins... I am now very fould to calculate odds, but they are at least "funny", imho. The whole run rather looked as the randomness of this particular roulette wanted to place numbers in clusters.
Again, sorry if that is normal, I am just learning every day!
