Great songs
« on: April 15, 2018, 12:19:45 PM »
It's Sunday.  I'm home cooking and listening to some great songs. Here is one you should listen to; The Sound of Silence by Disturbed. Much more dramatic than the original.

Other songs I like:
Billy Joel; Keeping the Faith.
Billy Joel; My Life.
Frank Sinatra: My Way.
Robbie Williams; all his music.
Deacon Blue; Dignity and other songs.

Most of my favorite music comes from the  60's, 70's and 80's.

What are some of your favorite songs?

I recognise two; Iron Maiden and Sex Pistols. Not on my list of favorites but that's what makes us unique.

I also enjoy Journey, Queen, Bob Marley, even ABBA. ..lol.

You don't need much in life; do you, Pete? Lol

I like Johnny Cash; what a sad life. His music brings back a lot of memories.

Bob Dylan was a master songwriter. If I'm correct he wrote a few songs for Billy Joel.
At times Billy Joels song Piano Man reminds me of some characters on the forum...lol.
