Similarities between Roulette and sports betting.
« on: May 28, 2016, 09:58:40 AM »
Inspired by the discussion about randomness here I came up with this absurd analogy.

Say you observe too many blacks in a row and you think that red is due to make a come back.
This is analogous to betting on a football match on the stronger side.
But you have to bet every minute of the game, that the stronger side will score.

You do bet on the stronger team, but the goal may come too late and you could have lost all your money till then. Or it may not score at all.

Take it with a grain of salt.

The betting frequency over X minutes is the min bet and each passing minute is a spin of the wheel?

Well i start out with sportbetting and got John Patricks ebook about the subject, so i Learning.
But i have to say that all my bets circulate around regression.

I have won or should i say are on a strike where i won five games in a row, sportbetting Moneyline (1 in 2) or same as EC.
But after winning the first bet i could not lose it all back, i could only win more, what a great feeling.
No mental stress and that is very important.

So now i base all my games on regression up & pull.
Did a comparison test with Guetting Progression and it fail twice when i compare benifits.

With Regression you only need to win once to be a Winner and from that Point you can not lose it all back.
With Guetting you need to win Three times, Before you operate with winnings.
Also test the strike ratio with up as you go and Guetting losing the last bet after a strike take a bigger bite into previos winning then what Regression Up & Pull does.

Cheers

...Regression Up & Pull does.

How you use it in betting? On one pair?

I can only say that i work very hard to get tight LW-Registry which allow you to use regression.
Have some soluion where you win once within once cycle W or LW two attempts.
At rare times i lose two in a row - twice - that is four attempts.

You see flat betting is no good, many don't think about it, but you have to win twice to win once.
WWL +1 With regression you only need to win once and anything after that is bonus.

Cheers
