What if you found the Holy Grail?
« on: April 13, 2016, 08:28:42 PM »
I think this is an interesting question and I bring it to the forefront because we are all working on systems of our own and testing those that people share.

1- If you tell absolutely no one, you can go on to live a comfortable life
2- If you tel la few close friends, you can all live comfortably, however there could be negative aspects if other people know
3- Sharing some points of your system without revealing it has pluses and minuses as well
4- Selling your system could be an option but no one in their right mind would sell it for less than hundreds of thousands of dollars. Anything less in my opinion would mean the person is a scammer. For example selling it for $200 means its probably worthless since any one of us could have a nice run and profit $200.
5- giving it away would be similar to selling it in some regards. Why? If there was a holy grail you would surely agree casinos would change the roulette game after that

And now... your own thoughts and votes :) .....

For me I would probably either #1 tell no one, or #3 talk about my system without revealing it.

Interesting question indeed.

First ask yourself, how do you imagine a winning system to be? Like what? Like "if this, do that, otherwise do this, win millions" type of system?

First of all there is no such thing as HG. There is no way to make money with 100% certainty.

See also winning system: there is no reward without risk So if you imagine that you can win money in any kind of way (even a robery) with zero risk, then...

Secondly, even if you shared your system, some would be interested, few would test it and even fewer would use it and only a couple would be able to actually make money. After 6 months it would be old news. Most roulette players do not have the determination (character, budget, dedication, discipline, don't get disheartened by bad streaks etc.) to make money at roulette.

Making money at roulette is much more than a ready recipe.

Well, naturally the question is hypothetical. For me the design of the roulette board in every aspect is almost God-like. Its very well thought out.

Its very interesting regardless as to how people think. You could substitute "roulette holy grail" with anything such as "the fountain of life" or whatever. Or.... "world domination!".  ;D

I would probably make my killing first (of course) - lol - then give it away for a couple of reasons at least. First, there are more than enough people playing the dork games (i.e. slot, keno, video, wheel of fortune etc..) to keep the casinos profitable for years to come. Second, many gaming "experts" have totally convinced themselves and senior casino staff personnel that the games offered are completely unbeatable, there is no need to worry.... and no reason to check any system out. So if a cataclysmic killer system were ever devised they would be - at the least - stubbornly resistant to make (or even admit) changes would be necessary given their sanctimonious nature.

I would tell absolutely no one.

What would be the point?

No one would believe it anyway..

I wouldnt be able to keep it a secret, but I would not reveal how I do it to anyone.

Perhaps one really good friend I trust if i wanted to start a small team, but besides that, the rest of them can go screw themselves  ;) . Not many "true friends" in this world unfortunately.

Yes. It can only be a hypothetical question -  something " amusing to play around with."
Tell a friend ? Why ? Because he is a friend ?So why shouldn't your friend tell his other friends because they, in turn , are friends ? And on and on it goes until  the casinos change the rules.
Perhaps the question should be changed to " Should you reveal a method that you have found to be profitable - up until now " ?
As kav says there is always risk venturing into the unknown. Even Warren Buffet lost millions of dollars betting on the UK supermarket Tesco and George Soros lost millions when Russia defaulted - but they remained " profitable.
Betting with method  beats betting haphazardly.  I  think our critics actually  encourage irresponsible betting because newcomers ( newbies ) think that if it is all down to " Luck " why bother to THINK and just plunge in - sometimes making bets that just cannot show a profit . ( part of  their bet )
Gambling is Gambling is Gambling .

This forum has been around for a long time, has anyone actually found a winning system that can be used in the casino?

If you have, don't sell us on your system, just let us know and tell us your story.

Asking for something you wouldn´t do yourself. Nice guy  :o :o

The Holy Grail for roulette does no exist.
With my theory and explanation evry body can learn roulette play for fun.
Only by studying the random sequences and listening to experience players, you can increase your skill

Everybody can play succer ,but a very few shall become a professional.

As I said, I found it, and I will never explain to anyone.
I wrote it down for my daughter, so if something happens to me, she could have it when she will be old enough (now she is 5). No one of my friends or relatives will have.
I tried once to explain it to my wife, but after a couple of minutes she watched me confused and said: "Are you kidding? I don't understand a thing of what you are saying", so now stays with me.
In the last years, I lost some games, or for malfunction of the roulette (airball machines) that closed down while I was in a game, and once because I had the urgency to go to the bathroom. The system, as itself, never failed.
I started with .25$ chips, and now I play 3$. My next step is 5$ then 10$. No more than that, there is no use and could be dangerous in a variety of ways.
Once a guy at the casino offered me 20.000$ to explain my system (I played for a week there, and every day he kept an eye on me). A mistake I will never do again. Maximus is two days in a row.
I play 8 hrs a day, 2/3 days a week. I do not work, because I do not need to.
The worst part of a winning system is the boredom. Stays there hours doing basically nothing is boring. Deadly boring. And around you there are a lot of distractions. So you have to build your discipline, and stick to it playing at roulette no matter what. At the end, you can use your winnings (part of them) to enjoy yourself. I did in my prime, now I walk away as soon as I cash my ticket.
My daily goal is 1000$, sometime I quit a little before when I am tired. Mostly, I stick to it. My final goal is 3000$ a day for two days a week. Not enough to became rich, but I am not in that kind of mind setting.

By the way, I don't care if you believe it or not. I post here with open hearth and no second meaning whatsoever.

DrTalos, Would you be so kind as to give us a descriptive thought on your methodology? I gather from your comment that you are basically "grinding" to get your winnings as you said the task is 8 hours a day and boring. Would you care to offer any more advise? Thank you!
