Congratulations on your success Geoffrey :-) I lost my bankroll yesterday with foolish bets, so your advice on how to earn 850 within two weeks, would be much appreciated :-)

Yes eightfold on your money is extremely good in a 2 week period.  There have been some that say it would indicate that you are using a HG system but since you don't do this but use multiple systems based on how you feel, I just don't know what to think! :D

There's nothing Holy Grail about the way i play. In fact the only thing there is to it, is discipline. to be honest, its not fun, its work. If you want to make money out of it, consider roulette as a working business not as an entertainment.

I let myself drag away once. lost 180 , i was being pissed at myself for 2 days. as of tonight i finally recovered it :), but Rng play is done, i only play live casino behind my laptop now

Hi,
Why do you prefer live roulette over rng?
Is it because it resembles more the real thing or you do not trust rng?

well, i played Rng when i started first 2 weeks, but then  i discovered this forum. Looks like most guys dont like it, or trust it. so i took that into account, and also on the Rng you are forced to play every spin. on live roulette you take a break, let a spin pas if you want to, and you are able to have a chat with the groupier. i like a bit of interaction, and knowing the person who's spinning the wheel.

weird thing is, i seem to be doing good, but entering a real casino still scares the hell out of me :D

I'm very glad people are posting about losses, like in this topic How Luck turned for me and now I need advice.
It is a reality check for all of us.
And like they say, one can only learn from his mistakes.

Interesting Kav. that story was kinda walkup call. you once mentioined that biggest problem for a gambler is getting away from the table. cant deny that statement. I've i walk away sooner i would have been on 200 profit, so i messed up really bad

Jake007 can you explain your money management?.
There are different kinds of management.
1 the playing management.
2 the session management
3 the oveall management

I'm only really playing one system right now and thats betting on missing dozens after four misses.

Playing management... after four misses i have a simple 3 step progression... $2,$3,$4. If i dont win i stop betting and wait for another opportunity.

Session management... if the game doesnt feel comfortable to me, I just stop and come back to it later. I'm looking for a 10%+ profit each time I play. If I'm on a roll I'll keep going. If I go up 40% and I start losing I stop and come back another time. If a session drops 15-20% I'll stop.

Overall management... So far doing well, but if a system drops to 50% of my original amount, its not a good system :)

So far I have no set rules on this system... still play testing. Still finding my sweet spot because I notice if I stop after 3 bets, my dozen will hit on what would have been the 4th bet :) I might move my progression to $1,$2,$3,$4 instead.

Very similar to what i'm doing right know. My main strategy is also on missing dozens, and as you say, if you play it smart, you bankroll can increase pretty fast over al couple of days. example i had a winning streak of over 20 consequetive days ending with a profit. After that i had i couple of days with a set back, but the losses here, dont hurt your bankroll so much, and knowing the winning will return rather sooner than later, there's not really anything to worry about. most of the gamblers problem is that they dont have control, they wanna revocer losses with progression to fast. as they dont accept a bad session. on the other hand same problem occurs when winning bigger than anticipated, they tend to get too greedy. thats why i still be repeating. to win at roulette, the most important is to stick to the letter of your plan. Patience and determination will get you far.

But now, as suggested in another topic i started. I'm checking for a dealers signature, if any. to maximize my winnings in a very short play.

Idea is to analyse 100 plays of a specific dealer and see if there's some kind of pattern that repaets often.

there are 8 different dealers at the online casino i'm playing. so i get info from all of them. and although i'm not that far in my analysis. It seems that there is something to it.

Sleeping dozens will always be my main strategy but a combination of bets with certain dealers seems to pay off.

i have checks 20 sessions for now, well, when you play the dozen strategy, combined with a tiers du cyclindre, low, black, 1 colom and a 3 straight up bets in first dozen. seems to work a charm with a specific dealer. these were the results:

6 sessions lost with a drawback of 50 tot 70 units.
14 sessions won with a profti of at least 100 to 180 units.

Maybe dealers signature isn't a fallacy at all?

You pretty much nailed it Geoffrey! Recover loss to fast is a sure way of losing your remaining bankroll. I've done this myself more times than I can remember, but now I'm being more patient when loosing some of my bankroll. The key is to remain calm, stop playing (maybe until there is a new dealer or change table) and then start off with your initial or a smaller bet.

With this approach I have always won back what I've lost (so far).

So my best advice in those situations is to keep your cool and take a break :-)
