What's your motivation, purpose and goal???
« on: January 12, 2016, 06:52:36 PM »
First of all I'd like to admit that I always express my opinion, this opinion could be right or could be wrong, BUT what I'm saying is what I really believe.
In other words I'm not trying to say what others want to listen, my objective is not to gain popularity.

Surprisingly I've realized that the majority of you cares more for arguments and debates rather than learning and applying what you know in order to reap the rewards.

What is knowledge when there is nothing to apply it?
I can't and I don't want to know everything, I just want to know what is useful for me and my life.

Let's look at it from a different angle, what do you prefer, having sex or discussing about it?

-"I had wonderful sex experience with this position''

-''He is a great liar because I've used that position and my dick didn't faction properly''

-''Objection your honer, my dick is longer than you think!''

What's the point in such arguments?
Could anyone make anything useful out of it except laughing and even this not always.
My purpose is not to argue, my goal could never be to prove you wrong, I'm not seeking for such occasions but forums like this are full of it unfortunately.

This fact make things harder for the minority, like me, to learn something useful.
Forums should be considered as a medium for exposing and exchanging ideas, information in order to help each other and progress all together.

Like the administrator of this forum once said, it's completely unproductive, uninspiring, pointless and futile to concern only for non constructive criticism, that's the origin of the dogmatic narrow minds.
Definition of the word dogma is when someone rejects anything different than what he/she already practices and preaches.

Even when the dogmatic authority is true and correct, it can be wrong when rejecting another part of reality which happens to be also correct.
In other words, what makes you right, doesn't make me wrong...why not to embrace something which have been beyond our field of view?

What if every human being accepted only what already been considered as norm to be the only reality?
Would that help our knowledge and consciousness to evolve and our lives to progress?
I think not, it would only satisfy the confirmation of what's already been known (regardless the level of correctness).

I'm just wondering, do our dogmatic authoritarians practice what they preach??

My thoughts too , Blue Angel.
There are too many in this- and other forums- who  treat their opinion as fact  and belittle those who differ from them.
There would be fewer posts but personally I would consider that a good trade-off .

Yes the belittling betrays a motivation which differentiates itself from the motivation of "normal" members of this forum; i.e. there is some kind of ulterior motive for their actions.

Despite how painful it is at times, I must say, it has made me a much stronger and rational player.

I think its because I get so pissed off at their arrogance that it forces me to express myself at new levels of brilliance (if I don't say so myself XD).

I mean because of their incessant attacks I have delved deeper into my own roulette theory than I would have otherwise AND as a special bonus, I have learned... [come closer I will whisper it in your ear]:

The Gambler's Fallacy is only a theory!

Shhh...  Its a secret!

So finally something positive found its way out of all these, well done!

Well that certainly isn't you.  You guys still have your minds caged and quarantined by the gambler's fallacy.  You guys shouldn't expect to win dirt  using your triggers and absurd up as you lose progressions.

These are the words from someone who presents common knowledge as his own.

You are right there Reyth.
He PROBABLY knows more about the physical properties of the wheel than the rest of us put together because he worked in that industry for 40 years - and PROBABLY still does. A pity that casinos don't allow HIM to  spin the wheel.
According to Mike  Real has written a book ! A pity that he is not prepared to share his "words of wisdom " with the rest of us rather than his carping  criticism !

Real is always lurking around like "evil eye" which never sleeps!

At a time not far from now he is going to be revealed and then he will share with us his diamonds of knowledge...

Real has been a professional roulette player for over 30 years; he hasn't worked in the roulette wheel manufacturing industry to my knowledge. And yes he has written a book but it's not available to the "public". If you ask him nicely he might let you have a copy (but I doubt it. Besides, it's a bit late to start being nice to him, LOL).

I think its because I get so pissed off at their arrogance that it forces me to express myself at new levels of brilliance (if I don't say so myself XD).

Funny, I was thinking the same thing myself.
