Why are you specifying the columns?  I would need to see a massive lack of hits in a column to see it as a significant edge or a massive number of hits in a single column to bet the other two.

Basically I see the columns as artificial constructs; the wheel doesn't care about columns?

  Reyth,
While the columns are artificial, they can be bet. Therefor they must be considered. What 2 in a row is concerned about is the fact that col 2 has 8 black and 4 red while col 3 has 8 red and 4 black. col 1 is equal 6 of each.

The question is can this be exploited. Obviously a bet on black and col 3 has an "extra" 8 posible red winners  to help  the col win. while red and col 2 gets an 'extra"  8 blacks. Is this an advantage ?

Basic maths says NO. the 2 bets are entirely separate, but it is awfully tempting to believe those "extra" reds and blacks might make a difference.

The hotspot theory can help you. It is possible to design an strategy for these anomalies of the table layout. Why a very complex strategy  while simpel strategies are available

surely if youre chasing a red the combined 1st and 3rd colunms would be a better bet than just straight red 24/37 to 18/37  any thoughts on this would be appreciated

    Hi 2,
If you are chasing a red then RED must be far the better bet. Not only are you betting all 18 reds but you get 1/2 of your stake back if zero occurs. So your odds are 18.5/37. betting 2 cols you are betting 14 red 10 black for 24/37 the difference will be reflected in the odds.
