I have spreadsheet looks like this. I want copy paste this to next to this. And change numbers to plus 1 or something. In first column, this needs to track only 2, 3, 4 and second one 5, 6, 7 so on.

Ok and so what happens if you click the blue header and select "cut" and click the header to the left of the area you want to paste to and select "insert" followed by paste?

The formula will carry over relatively 100% the same, is that the problem?

Ya by the "header" I mean the selectable top of the column.  There are options "cut" and "insert" and "paste" that come up.  The spreadsheet will automatically adjust the formula for you and of course I am assuming that isn't your problem right?

The key is tho when you click the header you want the whole column to be highlighted.
