The Messaging System..
« on: July 01, 2015, 07:55:54 PM »
What's the problem with the msg system? Are we limited to only 1 msg per hour?!

I've tried writting a reply on a msg but this sentence appeared:
"Error."
and something about just 1 msg per hour..

Someone to explain this?

I am not involved with the inner workings of the forum but I know that message abuse (SPAM,solicitation) is a serious concern.

1 msg per hour is antispam measure? 10 would be more reasonable. :)

I have tried to answer you but it says that your message box is full, therefore I cannot respond you here.
However, you might find it more convenient to send me on my email address:[suspicious]blueangelsystem@gmail.com[/suspicious]

Yes, this is an antispam measure, now it is 2 messages per hour. Also please delete old messages, to free space in your message folder.

Why would registered members have to have limits in message posting.
This measures could prove itself as counterproductive!
I would say.

The point is why would anyone have to send more than 2 messages per hour?
This measure prevents members to send mass/spam messages to other members.

1. Sometimes there is need for discussion
2. Remember Jespers live playing every few minutes
3. There is plenty of topics, so if I connect and look in few of them, maybe I'll have something to say on 7 topics, I am not going to take notes and post them next time that I find time

This is good subject for pool voting.

You can do all these.
The limitations are not for posting. Only for personal messages (PM) between members.
