Random limits?????
« on: June 18, 2015, 09:45:18 AM »
Many talks about random limits. I do not Think there is any such thing.
Lost  today 10 Euro because a street did not show in 198 spins.
I have got once 90 sleeping spins on a DS.

That's the million dollar question.
Limits exists, but the spin sequence from hell exists too. A street not showing for 198 spins (!!!) is definitely such a sequence.
I think the best way to not be decimated by such a sequence is what Palestis explained in his post as the "winning range".

I play BV, I am not suspecting anything. If we play long enough we see all sorts of things.
Some Days it looks like nothing works. I am back 20 Euro now. It happens  often  I go back.
The important is to not lose more than winning. I have not in the last few years.
I  just backed  the sleeping street.

The second I lost i try to get a straight up, hitting, add a cent every spin, Number 5,
and I saw number 9 five times in 20 spins. Just backing the wrong number.
I stop after used 1000 cents.

The casino I have used a lot, and have had pretty nice winnings in the 1000 Euro  range.

I plan to rest from game until we had celebrating Midsummer, probably the most important day
for most who lives in this country.  Long light evenings, but the weather could be better.

@ Jesper,
regarding Bet Voyager casino has low limits for betting and no zero roulette,BUT when you are winning they get a cut of 10% from your profits, thus it's worse since the HE on single zero is only 2.7%
It's no better,don't fool yourselves!

A DS sleeping for 198 spins?
That must be an online casino. This never happens in a real B+M casino. Even a street (half of a DS) cannot sleep for that long.
Not only a DS cannot sleep for that long, even 6 scattered numbers cannot sleep for that long.
And I very much doubt that you will ever see a sleeping DS for 90 spins in many years to come.
Many rare events can happen in roulette, but not the kind you are describing. I've been researching sleeping habits for a variety of situations for many years, this doesn't  even come close to within a mile from happening.

The street slept for 198 spins which is about 18% above what I would normally expect to ever see.  I agree those numbers appear pretty severely and seriously skewed.

Don`t try to awake sleepers. That is very dangerous. Long particular events are very busy and want to sleep. That is the moment the player awakes and attacks the roulette

I knew a player around 5 years ago where I used to live who only played the DS and claimed to be successful. I believed him because he kept a little book which he showed me on several occasions where he wrote down his session stats. His belief was to wait for around 30 spins without a DS and then wait for one to appear before he started betting. I think he just flat bet for 6 spins hoping to catch one and then stopped and looked for the next trigger where a DS went missing for 30 spins again. He was an old guy and was there for the night out as much as anything else but over the several years I saw him, he was in front (not by much) according to his figures. I suppose it beats losing.

It would be interesting to see what the difference is between a DS sleeping and two streets sleeping in terms of absence. I would imagine looking for two missing streets would speed up the process a bit.

The table sectors posses no magic...a dozen cannot be absent for 37 spins while 12 numbers on the wheel can because the 12 numbers on the dozen are specific while the other are ANY 12 numbers.
To prove you what I'm saying you can pick any 12 numbers on the wheel and see if those would be absent for 37 consecutive spins.
There are many misunderstandings which upon them have been build false beliefs.
The same goes for a line or any 6 numbers or a street in comparison with any 3 numbers, when we expect something specific it becomes harder to occur, while been more flexible we could get easier what we aim.

Used to be 10% from the withdraw amount but now it is 10% from the profits when you leave the roulette table.
