The Pioneer
« on: May 16, 2015, 06:45:32 PM »
Don't get me wrong, I am busy doing multiple something-elses but I stumbled onto this system and its like so much fun.  I am up 33 units in like maybe 10 minutes of fun.

First, let's set the mood for this wonderful adventure, come along with me won't you!?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cC6-E5XV_yE

Watch the numbers that come up, the first repeat number that is not a zero is your pioneer number.

The pioneer number determines which area you bet in (Dozen, 6 Combination etc.) for each level.

If you win, then you move back to LEVEL 1 and pick a new pioneer number.

If you lose all 6 levels, then you start over and pick a new pioneer number.

Play continues until you reach your profit target or you lose your bankroll.

HERE ARE LEVELS:

LEVEL 1: BET 1 TIME 1 UNIT ON HIGH OR LOW (1:1 Bet)
LEVEL 2: BET 1 TIME 1 UNIT ON DOZEN (2:1 Bet)
LEVEL 3: BET 3 TIMES 1 UNIT ON 6 NUMBER COMBINATION (5:1 Bet)
LEVEL 4: BET 6 TIMES 1 UNIT ON 3 NUMBER COMBINATION (11:1 Bet)
LEVEL 5: BET 6 TIMES 1 UNIT ON 2 NUMBER COMBINATION (17:1 Bet)
LEVEL 6: BET 19 TIMES 1 UNIT ON THE PIONEER NUMBER  (35:1 Bet)

Example: ----------- Your pioneer number is 21
LEVEL 1: Bet high (19-36), one time.
LEVEL 2: Bet on the middle dozen, one time.
LEVEL 3: Bet on the 6 number Combination (19-24), 3 times.
LEVEL 4: Bet on the 3 number Combination (19-21), 6 times.
LEVEL 5: Bet on the 2 number split (20-21), 6 times.
LEVEL 6: Bet on your pioneer number 21, 19 times.

Well obviously, I suspect that I am under some great delusion and have only hit a lucky streak and this bet is unprofitable with at least the house edge claiming sway if not worse but since it has hit so many times in a row now, and is so much fun, it just makes sense to investigate it and see:

1) How often it fails and if it loses long term?
2) If it would make sense to continue the single betting on the pioneer number beyond just 19 spins with a standard progression?
2a) If by adding this 3rd step, it would then become profitable long term?

My max bet is 80 units for the 3rd step progression; i.e. table limit.

And with this bet I go up 70 units with this system not failing yet.  I used the following progression for when the 19 in a row fails, starting with the 2 bet:

Bet $ 77 on 1 spots for 1 spins.
Bet $ 79 on 1 spots for 1 spins.

I got 60 bets in before it finally hit.

Here is the breakdown for the final progression, based on my table limits I am looking for it to hit within 176 spins:

Max Loss 455 (we buffered 31 times):

3429 times out of 421107 the number failed to hit (hit after the 176th spin).

This means 0.0081428235579081 times it failed to hit which is about 1 in 122 times.

Not all that impressive I must say, even if we added the buffering at 1:1 it could easily be surpassed far more efficiently.

This is a great system to have fun though.

The only hope it has is the successive odds of hitting when you combine all chances & then that profit weighed against its failure rate to determine profitability.

I just am going to assume it loses like everything else...

I have extended personal experience with this system, but I know it as Pivot version 2,the pivot version 1 was bet straight on the pioneer/pivot number.
In my opinion is one of the best I've seen around.
My suggestions regarding your questions:
It doesn't worth to bet it further than the 35 spins (including the group selections),just move on to the next number but this time bet 2 units instead of 1.
Also there are other two variations you may consider, first is to add quads on the groups, thus the progression would be: bet once on Low/High,once on the dozen of the number, three times on its line, four times on its quad, nine times on its split, eighteen times straight up on the number.
Second is to bet all of the pioneers/pivots as they come, while you are on a progression you will notice other pioneers/pivots,you might add them on their individual progressions,a second or as many as you want.
There was a variation at another forum which its author claimed it as HG,this variation doesn't wait for a repeating number but begins betting not in the dozen which just came, but on the other 2 dozens,if wins repeats again and again. If loses then bets 1 unit on each of the lines of those 2 dozens for 3 times (4 lines/4 units),if doesn't reach overall profit, converts the lines in streets and bets 1 unit on each for 6 times,if overall profit hasn't achieved then converts the streets to splits and bet each of them with 1 unit for 6 times,if overall profit achieved restarts the progression, otherwise converts splits to singles and bet each one with 1 unit for 18 spins.
VERY IMPORTANT: AT ANY TIME WHEN A BET HITS,IT'S BEING REMOVED IMMEDIATELY AND CONTINUE WITH THE REST,THE ONLY EXCEPTION ARE THE 2 DOZENS BECAUSE ARE ALWAYS 2 TO BET.
FINISH THE PROGRESSION WHEN YOU REACH A NEW HIGH OR IF YOU REACH 35TH SPIN WITHOUT OVERALL PROFIT.
I'd gladly answer your questions if you have any.

I have extended personal experience with this system, but I know it as Pivot version 2,the pivot version 1 was bet straight on the pioneer/pivot number.
In my opinion is one of the best I've seen around.

I think your progression is more HG than the other system that claimed to be is.  Have you run any simulations on your progression and does it ever fail?

I am assuming its Martingale, right?

I couldn't imagine this failing 7 times in a row EVER.

@ Reyth,

What progression are you talking about? I have not write anything about Martingale.
The variations which I wrote above are similar ways around the same principle, those systems are not my creation but I consider them as profitable if played under certain conditions.
I told you about what I believe is the best way to use them, not long progression after 36 spins because we should allow once in a while some unfortunate results to occur, therefore flexibility is essential.

1) No,but I've used them on fun and real mode with positive results
2) No
3) 7 in a row?? Are you serious?! If you are talking about losing 35 times by 1 unit and on the next round raise on 2 units for another 35 spins and so on...I HAVE NEVER LOST NOT EVEN 4 IN A ROW!

Right, well the problem is that with a 1 2 4 8 16 progression, it takes too long to get back into profit.  We need something aggressive like the Tet e Tet (sorry can't do French) where it exposes 1/3 of its playing bankroll and then bets the other 2/3rds on the loss.

Of course there is the flat, 3 6 12 24 48 option...

Taking a look at what we are actually facing:

We hit high/low once -1, dozens once -2, double street 3 times -5, street 6 times -11, split 6 times -17 & straight up 19 times = -36

So the goal is to get that -36 back as soon as possible but not throwing safety out the window either...

Ok so throwing safety out the window, I would want to jump to 13 units.  Let's just look at that...

-36
-468

Ok so now, 155 and this will be the last loss in a row...

-5580

Well ya pretty steep...

Ok 6 units:

-36
-252

Ok now 40 units:

-1692

Ok that's more like it.  Rest of the bankroll goes in for the last round: 300 units

So this way, its like blackjack, we count cards and when we know we must win, we bet BIG.

I'm just brainstorming here...

Btw, sounded like you were talking about the Buffster (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j1TaDWMvH2A)which I REALLY liked but, just like with this one, the math makes it looks like you have to lose to the house edge BUT your progression idea is teh r0x0r!

Ok, here's what I've come up with.  Just like you say, we NEED a progression (something aggressive) or we are just going to get owned by the slight house edge as it catches us with a bad streak.  The most aggressive form of betting that I've found is the TnT (BOOM! http://www.roulette30.com/2010/04/tier-et-tout.html Forget French!).

So, since a successful session means you are in profit, I am using the Buffster as one elongated even money bet where we have 35 chances to create that profit.  If I lose, then I bring the remaining 2/3 to bear to create a winning session and then increase from the profits until I get to the 9th round.

I just went up 100 units of play money at my casino doing this; my experience so far with the play money side is that its not a profit feeder, I went down quite a bit during my sessions on multiple occasions.

I am still working the kinks out, but this looks quite strong for making money.

Bankroll management is the key for the TnT (BOOM!).  There are 432 unit bets in the Buffster, so that 35 needs to count as a single unit for the TnT (BOOM!), so that 1/3rd of operating capital = 432 single units and the rest of the operating capital consists of 864 units, for a total of 1296 units at risk.  Hmmm, I think this is right....

The Buffster is quite pricey and I think I would want at least 2600 units available before I would feel safe...

-=-=-=-=-

The TnT just isn't compatible with the Buffster unles-s you have a massive bankroll; I mean I made TONS of money very rapidly but I was putting a very large amount of money at risk very rapidly too and it was totally out of control compared against my bankroll.

I'm thinking a positive progression is definitely the way to go and one in particular I saw was where you had to raise your bet amount no matter what whether you won or lost.

I think I will start with your method of the Martingale on a loss.

TNT =Tier et Tout
Buffster=holy grail
My,progression is not martingale.
It's more like D'Alembert on periodic intervals.

Hmmm, yes I was just thinking about this.

Interesting trivia!  Max consecutive repeating of single dozen is 16.  The following distribution was observed:

1) 2365398
2) 830739
3) 291968
4) 102595
5) 36060
6) 12718
7) 4464
8]1532
9) 547
10) 205
11) 70
12) 21
13) 10
14) 2
15) 1
16) 2

So I think positive progression makes the most sense here.  I'm going to give it a try.

+1 when I win, back to 1 when I lose, start a new session as soon as in profit.

Hey!  You know THIS looks like the perfect system to merge with the Fisher!

Ya, I dunno its the money thing, ya feel me?  Ya know like I have Luvvy coming over and calling me "Reythston Howell III" and such... XD

The reason why the Fisher Progression System is so perfect for the Buffster is because with a .65 chance to win on each spin the Fisher A) Doesn't raise the betting amount drastically but still maintains the advantage of win-loss ratio, B) Is never hampered by table betting limits, C) Will withstand a 16 consecutive loss streak with minimum losses.  Whereas
the Martingale could get hit by table/bankroll limits pretty fast and ONE OR BOTH of those would fail in the face of 16 consecutive losses.

Anyway, I am encountering a slight difference on the Fisher debt management system.  Each unit that we lose is not worth 1 but 1.5.  So that means if we are betting 1 unit and we lose, we need to put 1.5 down on the paper.  Consequently, if we are betting 3 units, we need to write down 4.5 (3*1.5).  When betting from the paper, just round any decimals up and it will insure a profit if 3 or less items and the advantageous winning ratio if more than 3 items.  On wins, each unit of betting is worth 1 unit on the paper; e.g. last round we bet 3 and lost, so we wrote down 4.5 on the paper.  This round we bet 3 again and won, so we cross off/subtract 3 from the paper.

I think this resolves the issue, more updates as I continue, so far I am up 125 units as I type...

Due to the 1.5-1 unit differential there is a slight ratio advantage loss which looks like this:

3:1     @ 0.4864864864864865
3:1.5  @ 0.6486486486486486

Are your eyes glazing over?  Mine are.  Hmmm, ok ratio reduction is -33% but profit chance increase is +25% which, I dunno I am starting to faint and get short of breath but I THINK that means a 8% loss in betting efficiency.  I've lost my last available active brain cell but I think rounding decimals up when attacking helps to even that out.

^^^^  This is what the Buffster was like WITHOUT the Fisher Debt Management System.

vvvvv  Here is what the Buffster is like WITH the Fisher Debt Management System:

THAT'S RIGHT, I'M UP 258 UNITS BABY!  MMKAY?

Visitors of this forum come from all over the world. I have sometimes also a problem with the abbreviations of terms.
I always try to give honest judgments of systems or ideas. The Pioneer is one of the most beautiful systems but very complex. Every system has nearly 50% chance for a profit or a loss playing a short run sample. What is a short run sample? This depends on the probability of the chance.  An EC short run sample is less than 200 spins. The short run sample for the Pioneer may be 10M spins.
This makes a judgement for such complex systems very difficult.
A good criterion is the ratio total payout/100xtotal input after every spin. You reach the number of spin for a short run sample as this ratio is about -2,7%with a small deviation.
