Kav i try to see this youtube video, but there is a copyright issue, so they don't allow me to watch this documentary.

I try to find other solutions, like posting it on public forum board and i also try to download the youtube video.
It does not work as the site recognice my IP adress.

Kav if you have the time, could you download the video to your computer and email me the video.
I hope is not to much to ask, hope you can find the time.

Cheers Patrik From Sweden

Go to Louis Theroux documantary on google. There ypu can watch one of the videos of LT. Louis Theroux gamblingmeets several big  gamblers.
They were no players and gambled without a plan. So far it is a very bad example for newbies. I cannot recomment this video.

They ... gambled without a plan.

Exactly the way the casino industry wants them to be.  Because, after all, the situation is hopeless and we can't win anyway, so might as well go on impulse to have a good time, right?

"Roulette ... is a pure game of chance ... so no opportunity for expertise there."

So Kav, Pales, Harry, Sputnik, Ignatus, Jesper, Scepticus, Ringmaster, Gno, Dobble,  Blue, et. al. bring NOTHING to the table because they play roulette?

Thankfully we have Ron Burgundy to express our collective outrage. :D

There is actually a common thread among all the systems of the above named gamblers on this site (and those I forgot to name) that IS gambling wisdom!

Yeah, I heard that little snippet the speaker put in there, and didn't really agree with it.

The part that intrigued me was the risk intelligence bit.

Ironically, the speaker later mentions expert gamblers playing roulette, which I found contradictory to his earlier reference of roulette being a game of pure chance.  ???

Roulette is a game of pure chance. AP methods seek to use science to eliminate the chance factor. There is no doubt that this method can be successful. However most of us are stuck with pure chance.

Fortunately even chance produces Statistics !!  For the most part they are too diluted to be of much use. What is needed is a form of tunnel vision. The ability to concentrate on a very specific area. In other words, if this specific event occurs. What statistics follow ?  In this way we may be able to spot the range of the most likely results !!

We are still dealing with chance. There is no guarantee that chance will produce the hoped for result. BUT ! And this is a very big BUT ! The HE is very small, and even a small advantage can result in winning play.
