A method/system, no big deal, goof around with it?
« on: August 23, 2016, 11:49:42 PM »
I thought this could be a fun topic?

Do you guys occasionally play a method, just for fun (real money) that you know is not even close to great? Something easy and kind of fun? Dont go posting how it won't pass a million spins (lol). This is more for goofing around. Myself >>

No jotting anything down (a big time saver).....watch the history board, any repeat of a number, bet that and its two neighbors. The newest repeat?

Switch your bets, thats it, nothing complicated.

NOTE: (00 wheel)....lets say the 14 was hit twice. You are betting the 14 2 35. The 2 & 35 gets you a few hits, that section is "hot" (for now).

A few spins later, the 25 hits back to back. Myself? I would NOW bet the 25 10 29 even though I am coming off a hot section.

Like I said, it won't pass a million spins but its a fun, QUICK system if I only have an hour or so to kill or entertain my family/friends.

Ken

1. James Bond method - I haven't bothered to research why it is called this - perhaps Bond played it in one of the movies, but I seem to remember him always playing "17 black", but I digress...

The Bond method places 1 unit on Zero, 5 units on the 15/18 double street, and 14 units on 19-36 high. A progression (if any) is your choice.

2. 7 Flank (I just made up the name because I don't know what to call it) - 1 unit on Zero and the three numbers to either side on the wheel. So it's 0, 26, 32, 3, 15, 19, 35... one unit on each with whatever progression (if any) you like.

I would play Blue Angel's 9 groups of 4 numbers - as 2  splits.
Simply repeat the last one to win.

Agreed kav.
I don't play for fun. Note my " would" IF  I  played for fun.
I don't think ken was being serious -  just indulging in a " What If ".
Things have been a bit quiet in the forum lately.
I have been wrong before, though !

Hmmmm...I recall some people claiming that winning in the long run wasn't the most important thing and that they were just in it for the fun.

I never play a casino game--system or otherwise" for "fun" with real money. I play to win and although losses are part an inevitable part of the business, I hate to end loser to a session.  Blowing money for yucks is one of the most inane things a professional gambler would do and that's what's separates the amateur from the pro.  Therefore, the OP is not a pro.

Nearly all methods and systems are played in short run sessions. See the DRTO in my blog. From this point of vieuw you never lose on the long run. You lose because you have not suffient knowledge of short run trials and the right method.

Do you predict? It doesn't matter if you are right every spin or not , or if you win more sessions that not.... as long as you win money on long run.
If you predict and do have positive expectation, you win money, you do not gamble- you invest.
In this case you are a player, not gambler.
Player hate the game, because it's boring job, they do not play for fun.
Players are still junkies. .. they are addicted to winning, calculated risks, challenging cases..ets.

Over time you lose because of the HOUSE EDGE.

Like I said guys....lets say you were gonna have a meal with the family at the casino and you're an hour early.

You sit at the roulette table and play WHAT, in order to kill some time? Thats all the question is. A "fun" way to kill an hour....maybe a $300 buy in.

Is this the definition of a broken record?  Lol.

Real you cannot prove your statement. You have no idea what long run means. For the most systems long run trials take more than a lifetime. From this point of vieuw  your statement is nonsens and stupid.

AP methods can also not beat the house edge.

Lone wolf what do you mean with broken record? Take real not serious. He repeated his statement more than 100 times and disturbed any discussion about systems and strategies

Nice to win, but if we think it is fun to lose, we are funny by our selves. We should be OK with losing, not fun, but if we think we are not able to lose, we are in danger (to lose more than the money).

You answered your question: Real writes the same mantra over and over again ad nauseum; thus, he is like a broken record that skips and repeats.
