Let's Play A Roulette Competition
« on: August 10, 2016, 05:00:28 PM »
Hey why don't we play roulette where once every 8 hours everyone gets a chance to place their bets and the wheel spins.  We will use random.org to generate the number and we will track everyone's balances and see who wins?

What bankrolls should we use?

Who wants to play?

I'm game. Sure. Work out the details and let me know. Sink or swim, I'm not afraid of putting my virtual "money" where my mouth is...LOL ......might be a useful learning process among the participants.

Bankroll might be determined by the competition's "table limits".

I will play too as long as you guys trust me to generate the numbers from random.org.

We need to figure out the bankroll though.  I wouldn't miind having an unlimited table.  Once your bankroll goes negative you are eliminated from the tournament. :D

I certainly trust Reyth. :)

Whatever the starting bankroll is will likely determine which method I use. Unlimited table is fine with me.

Well maybe we need to vote on bank balance.  Maybe we should vote on the following categories:

100 units
500 units
1000 units

1500 units
2000 units
5000 units -- 1

7500 units
10000 units
15000 units
20000 units -- 1

Let say we each get 2 votes that must be in different categories; small, medium & large.

I will cast my two votes as 5000 units & 20000 units.  The category that gets the most votes will then be voted on for specific amounts.

5000 and 20000

I'd also suggest single zero, no limit, no minimum.

(lol) everything should be as close as possible to average casino conditions and an AVERAGE of ones BR.

20K? If you dont use a 20K BR, why would you test/practice/competion with it? A min and max bet on tables. For example....if its $5 min bet, perhaps a $300 max bet on an inside number with no cross betting. Meaning, you put $300 on the 17, you cannot bet anything else with that 17 on the inside. No splits etc. Why? Because you would not get paid for it in the real world.
