The Power Of Early Hot Numbers
« on: July 13, 2016, 02:52:00 AM »
In my constant tinkering with numbers, I came up with this interesting observation...

Let me explain this graph.....

On my Roulette Extreme program.... I spun out the first 10 numbers manually....I took what it gave me. Whatever number it produced, I promptly placed a 1 unit bet on it (no progressions - just one unit all the way). It took me 11 spins to get my first 10 unique numbers (one was a repeater). Each 10 had the one unit bet placed on them. Then I set it on auto-spin for the next 989 spins to give it a 1000 spin total.

The results as you can see are quite intriguing. Within those first 10 unique numbers there were some seemingly "hidden" hot numbers....that stayed hot early on before the inevitable downslide took over. I started with a 5000u bankroll, profit is shown in green, loss in red. The early random hots did quite well... at spin 362 the run peaked at +327 units. The tipping point seemed to be around 400 spins. Not too bad for 10 numbers just spat out at random without any conditions or selection methods applied.

Perhaps one wouldn't have to sit around and wait for hot numbers to develop (waiting for 3 or 4 shows for each  etc....), they could already be there within X numbers of spins, seeds ready to "blossom" if you will. I suppose this is not very "scientific", but it's an interesting look at the behavior of random numbers.

Hot numbers is an undisputed phenomenon.
If you take groups of 10 continuous numbers, you will almost certainly find one number twice.

You got the first sentence correct at least.

I'm surprised this topic doesn't get more replies.
There is much to say about hot numbers.
And just to iterate my previous post:
How about finding in how many spins it is most probable we see one of the previous numbers repeat?

Could this be exploited?

Yes it could be pushed forward. I sudjest someone to try last 10 numbers on every spin. Constantly chanjing numbers as they come up.
Besides, additional " trigger" could be used. Looking frequency of trials wich was suxesful in last 10...20...30 spins.

Human mind can identify infinite patterns, but which are the reliable ones (if any)?

By saying reliable I mean consistent.

You might see a number repeating in short time and then could disappear for long time, go figure...

Ran 2 more tests, the first 5 unique numbers, then the first 15 uniques (to go with the 10 uniques above post for comparison)...
The 5 spot test did quite poorly with only a +17u at spin 374

The 15 spot did much better (although it took awhile to get going) reaching a high of +507 at 229 spins....and another peak at 710 spins...

So it seems the more the better (up to a point). Somewhere in all this stuff there might be an "optimal" number of spots.

I think Caleb would advocate 5 last numbers.

My opinion is  that 1 criterion is never enough, optimal are 2 to 3 criteria in order to filter out more false-positives, thus less bets but higher accuracy.

In a recent post on a German forum someone refers to Kurt von Haller (a great name in German roulette circles)
and suggests to concentrate  continously on  the latest numbers. He mentions 15-17-24-13-29-14-23-23 and suggests betting #15 exactly four times after #17 in this example. Always four times, even if it reappears (in that case he bets two units). And he maintains to have won much in a test even after 4250 spins.

Well... I'm not sure how long it will take to crash and burn - but I'm liking this so far.

Well, I'm sure as all methods do....something like this won't perform all the time. In some instances it might start tanking from the very first spin. This is where loss limits and $ management will come in. I am impressed by it's initial upward performance ....I will be far more impressed when a method of minimizing losses on a consistent basis is devised.

I'm more obsessed in becoming a minimal loser than a maximal winner. Master this, and the upside takes care of itself.

On the way Kav
Whenever I start to code the program to collect stats, somehow I get sidetracked. This weekend it will be done  ;D
