Why?
Please explain your logic.

Sometimes you are correct, but only sometimes.
Whatever you bet it's  always sometimes correct.

If half of everything is where or which the other half is when, we can be absolutely sure about one or the other but not both!!

It's absolute certainty that number 4 for example at some point in time will show up, it's also absolutely certain that right now something will come, but is never certain the combination of the above elements!

I agree that the odds are slightly better for black to hit here but why would I bet based on that?

My explanation is that streaks are statistically limited and a second black would represent a streak of 2.

The funny thing that you and Sputnik/Random got me to think of is that chop is statistically limited too... >.<

I haven't run trials on chop but I have run them on singles and the results slightly favor the opposite color. O_o

My first instinct was correct, there is no reason to bet until there is something more substantial to go on; otherwise its all sophistry.

I would need at least 2 results. :P

1) BB - Red -- clearly better odds for the streak to end
2) BR - No Bet -- I am assuming that the chances of the chop ending is cancelled by red not continuing
3) RB - No Bet -- Same as #2
4) RR - Black -- Same is #1
5) ZB - Red -- Here the zero is less likely to hit & is combined with an existing black for a greater chance of red
6) ZR - Black -- same as #5

What would be really interesting is to include all 3 EC's (the actual numbers spun). :D

Something that would be really kewl is to post a sequence of numbers of whatever length and then have everyone to vote on their next bet.  Then we could run millions of simulations and see who wins the most money! :D

Probably the best sequence would be 37 numbers.

Like this:

Code: [Select]
10   35   4   36   21
31   30   13   34   10
22   17   11   10   32
10   9   36   12   13
22   32   3   16   9
3   16   31   22   3
0   31   35   34   6
7   29

This concept needs to be fine tuned to get it to work...

The continuation of the sequence would be stored prior to betting.  Everyone could be given a certain number of units to work with and would be allowed to place bets that would exhaust all their units.  Then everyone's bets would be evaluated from the resulting continuation of the sequence.  Everybody would gain points based on their units earned.  Everyone would be ranked by points.

So here let's say everyone had 100 units.  I would bet:

Column 1 (3 units)
Dozen 3 (3 units)
Split 3-6 (1 unit)
Split 6-9 (1 unit)

For 12 spins.

Code: [Select]
24   33   0   17
33   25   33   15
34   32   10   14

24 Miss
33 +1
0  Miss
17 Miss
33 +1
25 +1
33 +1
15 Miss
34 +2
32 +1
10 +1
14 Miss

And I would gain 8 points.

The obvious problem with this is that losses would have to be part of the calculation for it to make any practical sense...

So raises would have to be done "blind" as part of the bets.  What would be really fun is to have all the bets hidden and then have a simultaneous reveal.

I'm not a "type". I'm much too sophisticated to be categorized. I'm the "whatever works" type. It can be streaks or chops, up as you lose or up as you win, bet selection or money management, hit and run or continuous bets, outside bets or straight up.

I'm NOT interested in taking sides, preach my gospel or prove myself or my approach better than the next guy's. I'm open minded and try to gain something from everything interesting I read or observe.

I'm going to tell you ONLY ONE thing, Sputnik means satelite in Russian language, thus Sputnik is a satelite of EC bets.
My advice is when you see Russian satelites just stay away from harm...!

That's the healthiest attitude towards progress and development, if you really doing this then success becomes only a matter of time.

Okay, I'll throw in my two cents simply because I know more. You posted the wrong question. Question should be, what was the second last (most recent) outcome.

Thats what I would bet on, if I played the ECs. Lets leave 0/00 out of this for a minute but of course, TEST WITH THEM please (rofl).

Two ways of losing (in general) as opposed to one way of losing (in general). Of course strange & goofy things happen in this game ALL THE TIME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I was saying (bet the second last outcome) >>

(L = black)

R
R18 (for example)
R
R
R
R
R
R
R
R...bet red because of the 18, second last.

L
R
L
R
L
R
L
R
L
R
L... chops like this? So What? Bet the second last outcome, all wins.

Here is the REAL ball breaker >>

L
L
R
R
L
L
R
R
L
L
R
R (etc) thats the kiss of death plus any zeros. Also, if a 0/00 does hit, RE-BET your last.

My point was to show how pointless is of trying to predict in which order outcomes will happen.

A gambler can  answer the question. All players uses more signs to decise what to bet the next spin
