How do you guys test systems quickly?  Do you use special software?  If so, is there alot of coding knowledge required?

Excel cold help you. Learning curve is moderate...  or try to use roulette extream.
You will need some numbers from casino, alternatively you could try to generate your own ( with Excel or any other)...
Somewhere on a forum was 1 mln spins ready for download, members post some spin samples from time to time also.

Quick tests can help identify a system's weaknesses so we can prepare a method to combat the negative sequences.  I personally code in BASIC.  The key to testing is to examine the output generated by the test, in the greatest detail possible, so we can isolate the negative sequences and determine their causes.

My favorite way to test is by tracking results while actually playing.  A good starting target goal is to log 10,000 betting attempts but this is just a general benchmark:

A longtime ago I did my research with VB. Excel is much easier and faster. The number of spins can be vary. Only one touch of key F9 and you have a new calculation of a session. The results can be made visual in the graphics.

I have published many examples of many systems. The advantage is that you can follow the proces step by step.
The Excel sheet is like a report. Without the knowledge of programming everybody can read the sheet.

My programs are always free available.

There use to be a site called testmystrategy that was good for testing simple system results.  But it looks like it's gone now
