How do you chose the online casino you play?
« on: April 13, 2016, 07:35:59 PM »
Hi,

I admit that my experience with online casinos and real money online roulette play is limited.
I don't want to make this an online casino recommendation topic, but I'm really interested in how do you choose the online casino you play at? What are your main criteria? What should a new online roulette player look for?

I am obviously in the USA so that must be my primary criteria but remove that and you have flexibility.

The casino's job is to try and corral you into betting under the most disadvantageous circumstances without you realizing that they are doing it.

The casino that imposes the least amount of such restrictions will always get my business first. :D

I vote for minimum unit size and trusth and live dealer.
I google online blacklisted casinos and some sites mention some bad casinos to avoid.
If i remember correct so does wizard of odds having a page about it.
Good idea to talk to others and listen to there experience.

Cheers

My first criteria is if the online casino accepts bitcoin. I play entirely with bitcoin. A few years ago I tried some other online casinos and it was difficult to deposit money and sometimes even more difficult to extract money.

Anyways, bitcoin deposits are super easy if I want to do live dealer and if I just want to do free play they usually have that option too.

First is trust, and low chip value makes  a stronger bankroll. I like to use casinos offering fair odds, as methods which turn over a lot of money are in danger due to house edge.  The speed of on line casinos  makes a lot of spins, so even if it is penny chips, a turnover of 1000 Euro in a day is common.
If AM-Wheel it is over 5% in turnover cost. 2.7% on EU-Wheel. If we win 50 Euro with 1000 in turnover, the game is very hard. Fair odds and fee from the winnings makes a better situation "in the long run".  The minimum bet here a BM is on EC about 11 Euro and nearly 3 on inside bets.

It is not easy to trust an on line casino, we have to test them, and do it fair, they do not cheat just because we lose.  I have been playing many years on line and find it OK.

casinos for me is the enemy they are there to to take my money no matter what i do , perhaps u have to start a topic 'how  many of you are in profit?'and especially online casinos where things are even worse than land based , well perhaps there are some  with better  payouts than others , but imo low stakes tables, games, is a trap that someone easily is falling in ....

Penniecasino makes the bank larger. We do not lose or win small anyhow, but we can use methods which are impossible  on BM and casinos with higher min. I play often NOZ, min is 0.05, and the play is not that value. Consider you can change the bet with 3%, how to do it with min bet at 1 Euro?  My thinking use fractions and that do not means a 16 step marty, in fact 20 is possible there I play. The "good" runs gives some small winning, the more hard some medium, and the harder makes money, the most bad a significant loss, As in all game we win and we lose. The most common mistake in roulette, is under finace in bank. I have been playing for yeras at low stake casionos with high maxbet. I did well, and of cource the main reason is I was lucky .

When you choose online casino, that's very important to check what types of games it offers.
I chose 32Red because it offers different types of roulette and even online mobile games.
And last but not least, I read on reliablecasinos.org that it has a wide range of awards and it used to be a casino of the year for 9 years.
Super!

23red has a nice glitzy fresh looking cover page to get you sucked in, with a list of about 40 players names, showing what they have won in the past day, week and month, im sure if they put the reverse and posted all losers, the site would crash due to over load, never played online and never will, played in fun mode on a few, but even they seemed rigged to me, live play in house, seems to be the best and safest way

I used to online a lot.... till l used all worth my time opportunities.
When you choose online casino, make sure it offers life video feed wich can be verified.  Example would be Dublinbet.
Do not trust casinos wich do change camera angle during the spin, it can easily be used for cheat.  Pay attention on the wheels in use, it's model , make, overall conditions of the game setup.
Remember, casino to be trusted should be trustworthy.  If someone used rrs ( random rotor speed device ) wich can be activated manually,  do not trust them. Most online casinos where bet after spin is allowed... do use these.
Other practice wich is very common is to have at least 1 spin behind of real time.... this practice became more popular that many realise.
As with everything in roulette, keep your eyes open, pay attention.
 Hope it helps.

I apologize but I cannot agree here.  Since live feeds are often B&M casinos, there is no way that cheating could be involved there.  Even if a casino is just for online feeds only, the chance of actual cheating going on is so remote due to the regulatory nature of the industry imo.

A live on line roulette has seldom any spot of the carpet free, it is of no use of cheating. They are sure to get theire hold anyhow. If a casino do not pay winners they will very soon get in problem, with the authorities, and the force of the market. Without winners a casino will not survive.

There are dishonest casinos, but a webbased casino can be checked up with the license authority, and the scam casinos have no license . Eu and Caribbean has not lose controls, and very few casinos provide the random numbers by them self, it is a service provider.

Some has a system for checking afterwards the number was chosen before the play, eliminating any cheating with those numbers.

Actually I know of some who thought about cheating, had a friend to visit the casino, noting down the numbers, and they where exactly the same as on line, he could even see his friend playing on the very same table.

"In the long run" casinos earn most playing fair.

I fail to see why any reputable BM casino would resort to blatant cheating. They get a helluva advantage the way it is (especially on americano wheels). Now, some onliners might be more likely for some type of chicanery.

My choice of the best casino comes from:
1. It should have a repute of paying without excuses and delays to all members.
2. It should have excellent table spread
3. It should have a logically proven truly random RNG
4. Live dealers with low stake start to very wide bet spread is added advantage.

For me, only two casinos qualify:
1. betvoyager (specially for RNG gaming)
2. Paddypower (specially for live dealer action and sports betting)

Both of them pay faultlessly and fast enough and offer the best flexibility possible.
