Sp1n-D can you help me help us all?
« on: August 26, 2015, 12:43:51 AM »

Hello Sp1n-D,

Thanks for your kind offer to write and share RX script with us.

Although December alone has kept you busy enough for the whole year (pun intended), I would be very grateful if you could code this money management experiment as I feel it could afford us some very useful information.

For testing purposes, on single zero wheel, bet a single dozen, it can be the same dozen or any randomly chosen dozen.

There are 5 progression sets each with 15 steps. Commence at progression set 1, step 1. Cycling through the progression level play 100 spins restarting the level on each win or progression bust. When nearing the 100 spin count, continue spin by spin until next win or progression bust. This will more often than not take you slightly over the 100 spin requirement.

Move to next progression step and play next 100 spins, etc.

This requires a little over 1500 spins to complete progression set 1, after which you move to progression set 2 for the next 1500 or so spins. Repeat for all 5 progression sets then start again at progression set 1.

This requires a little over 7500 spins to complete all 5 progression sets, after which you start again at progression set 1.

Each 15 step progression set contains 3 progression levels that show how many units to bet on each occasion:

Restart the current progression level after any win or progression bust.

Progression level 1) 1.1.2.3.4.7.10.15.23
Progression level 2) 2.2.4.6.8.14.20.30.46
Progression level 3) 3.3.6.9.12.21.30.45.69

Progression Sets:

Set 1) 2.2.2.3.3.1.1.1.1.1.3.3.3.2.2
Set 2) 3.3.1.1.1.1.1.3.3.3.2.2.2.2.2
Set 3) 1.1.1.1.1.3.3.3.2.2.2.2.2.3.3
Set 4) 3.3.3.2.2.2.2.2.3.3.1.1.1.1.1
Set 5) 2.2.2.2.2.3.3.1.1.1.1.1.3.3.3

By testing this idea we hope to discern whether or not a hit and run style approach within the money management component of a system has any merit.

As you can see by the arrangement of the 3 progression levels within the 5 progression sets that the lowest level 1 is bet continuously for 5 times in each set. The next lowest level 2 is bet continuously for 4 times and broken up hit and run style once. The highest level 3 is broken up hit and run style for the entire exercise.

Despite the differing arrangement, all 3 progression levels are represented 25 times each.

The main idea is to focus on the win/loss rate of the 3 different progression levels. Hopefully at the end of an exhaustive test the level 3 progression will show less losses than either level 1 or 2 by virtue of the shorter duration held each time it is employed.

Basically I want to see the long term wL registry for each progression level, but if you could code this money management complete with unit amounts it could also reveal other useful data pertaining to house edge, profit/loss, etc.

Thanks, Sp1n-D

..Forgot to say, if the results prove to be at all positive, then down the track I have a clever bet selection system for the dozens that together with this staking plan might just push us over the house edge line. :)

Hi Sp1n-D,

If you do this, and it's OK if you can't BTW, I intend to test this by downloading from RDO in blocks of 8000 numbers, which is enough spins to run through the process once.

So I would need the program to stop at the end of set 5 step 15, which amounts to 75 steps, each of about 100 spins.

I would then download another 8000 numbers and start the program again creating a different file for each block.

My intention is to do this at least 1000 times then collate the data and post results.

Cheers.

There are 5 progression sets each with 15 steps.

Understood

Quote
Commence at progression set 1, step 1.

Can you define "Step 1"?

Quote
Cycling through the progression level play 100 spins restarting the level on each win or progression bust.

Now I'm confused. You were previously describing "Set 1" but now you are referring to "progression level" and "restarting the level". I thought we were still on sets?

Quote
Move to next progression step and play next 100 spins, etc.

Understood, but not sure how "steps" and "levels" interact.

Quote
Each 15 step progression set contains 3 progression levels that show how many units to bet on each occasion:

Can you go into more details on how the steps and levels interact? At the moment, I'm not quite with you! sorry ... :-(

Perhaps give a step by step example of betting?

I will work on this over the next couple of hours for you before going to bed.

Cheers,
Spin. :D

Hi Sp1n,

Define Step 1? OK, let’s look at Set 1.

Set 1) 2.2.2.3.3.1.1.1.1.1.3.3.3.2.2

You can see there are 15 steps. So step 1 is 2, step 2 is 2, step 3 is 2, step 4 is 3, step 5 is 3, and so on through the 15 steps. Each step is played for around 100 spins.

I say “around 100” because you need to finish on a win or a progression bust. So if a new game is commenced at say spin 97 and the winner comes after 6 bets then that step will end on spin 103.

The number representing each step is the progression level to use for that 100 spins.

So Set 1 Step 1 is 2. This means you bet for 100 spins using progression level 2.

Progression level 2)  2.2.4.6.8.14.20.30.46

So you start Set 1 Step 1 with a bet of 2 units on a single dozen, and then move along after each loss until the final bet of 46 units. This allows 9 bets before a bust. If at any point you win, you restart at the beginning.  After a bust you restart at the beginning. This is done for 100 or so spins and then you move to Set 1 Step 2 and repeat the process, etc, through the whole Set, which will take about 1500 spins.

Then you move to Set 2 and repeat the process, then Set 3, etc, until through the whole 5 Sets, this will take about 7500 spins.

I hope that makes things clear?

As for choosing the dozen to bet, it doesn’t really matter so just make it a bet on the 2nd dozen every spin.

Hi Sp1N,

Thanks a lot for this, it has a few quirks but will be able to do the job as is!

At the moment the only thing I can see that might be a bit off is when there is a win or bust exactly on the 100 spin count (which does happen). When this happens the program continues the current step for one more progression loop where in these instances it should end at 100 and move to the next step.

It is probably something to do with this bit,

method "check end set"
begin
if record"Spin"data >= 100

Maybe it should be something like (if record"Spin"data =100 or >=100) ?

It probably won't matter all that much for my lengthy test though, so I'm happy to continue as is if we can't correct it.

Cheers!

Actually, In the long run I think it might make a considerable difference to the results because over every 5 Set test, the system moves off progression 1 five times, off progression 2 six times, and off progression 3 eight times, putting progression 3 at a disadvantage as the program is lingering there more often than progressions 1&2.

The result being unfair extra opportunities for progression 3 to bust, and that's what I'm trying to find out, whether or not with all other things being equal, does progression 3 bust less often than progression 1&2?

The idea is to maintain equality between the 3 progression levels, so it needs to stop at the right place all the time.

Cheers.

Hi Sp1N,
Any chance you could add a simple bet selection to the ‘Trilobite Sets’ program?

Bet selection:

Track the dozens.

Ignoring any zeros, bet on the first dozen to show 3 times.

Example: 1 3 1 z 3 2 1 <here dozen 1 has shown 3 times> start betting on dozen 1.

Example: 2 2 1 3 1 2 <here dozen 2 has shown 3 times> start betting on dozen 2.

Example: 1 3 3 1 3 <here dozen 3 has shown 3 times> start betting on dozen 3.

Example: 1 3 3 1 2 2 3 <here dozen 3 has shown 3 times> start betting on dozen 3.

Example: 1 2 2 2  <here dozen 2 has shown 3 times> start betting on dozen 2.

Bet using the 9 step up as you lose progression.

Stop on a win. Reset progression. Start new tracking.

Stop on a bust. Reset progression. Start new tracking.

Everything else should remain the same.

Cheers.
