It's really quite simple.  Tourists will not want to visit gambling destinations that don't protect the customer against robbery and other harmful acts. This is the lifeblood of these resorts in that they have no other industry to provide material revenue.

The only place I have been to that does an equal job as  Las Vegas in this regard is Monaco.

And the food is not that bad either...
