What happened to these good live online casinos?
« on: November 29, 2016, 02:10:49 PM »
Here is a message I received the other day by a friend of our site.
Since I'm no expert in online roulette, I post his question here in hope that someone would have more info on the subject.

Hello,
I’m physicist, nature man and photographer. Roulette have had my hobby and a bit of profession last six or so years. Your website attracted my attention due the Roulette Library selection. Your recommendation to read the ‘’Quantum Paradoxes’’ to understand the roulette content! It’s great, different and characterize the author from very best side. You surely know the overall level of Internet sites………

OK! One man described the situation in the field of internet casinos with follow words: ‘’Finding good online casinos is an art and the few available are real treasures for the professional …’’. This is Absolute Truth. He referred to the Portomaso live and Fitzwilliam Casino in Dublin. The latter I used myself during long time. There was many interfaces (Global Live Casino, Lucky Live Casino, Dublinbet) to access via Internet to Dublin roulette tables no1 & no2 (FCC1 & FCC2).

Unfortunately Lucky Live Casino stopped working while ago and since the first of november 2016 FCC1 & FCC2 are no more accessible as live roulette tables in Internet. What’s going on?? You have more actual information? Please let me know.

Kindest Regards and many thanks ahead

l happend to them, and some others like me. 5 good internet casinos stoped their GB licence,  it became not profitable for them. While some casinos are able to fight back, others keep their affeirs to brick and mortar only.
Fairway is my job ;). Real probably hates me for it. Lol.
 Portomaso as well ....

Thanks for the reply.
By Fairway you mean this?

Is this still working?

This was the same company (same casino?) with Celtic Casino

For the 5-6 moths I run their banners many visited but hardly anyone actually played in these casinos with real money. Are all these brands the same as dublinbet etc.?

Fairway is still working, however situation is unplayable there anymore. Sorry anyone affected.
Celtic didn't play, do not know...  whom they belong to is easy to see in " terms..  conditions".
I played fairway ;) . Now only locals can play it properly, no bet during the spin for European bettors anymore.

This seems like it has been done to deter AP. Is it so?

Obviously.  Rarely casinos do it, it makes their revenue lower..  but in fairways case it was only way to go, or l would own whem :).

Haa!  Some years ago I tried to do some AP online, use the video feed for predicting via software. Did not work as expected, but they changed the view, so I suspect the were aware. Today they do not show the table from the same angle during the spin, and hide some.

I won some on Dublinbet, but changed to No Zero

For my Dutch site I did some study of live roulette on Internet. My experience is that the croupiers must play very fast The time for placing your bets is very short and about 15 seconds. For a system players is that time too short for study the stats and place the bets.

The most unbelievable bets appears on the screen.

Here some examples.

How many remember this was legal bets?  May be in the   1950, when I was seeing it, but was too young to bet.
The casino was in Travemünde. A bet of 10 DM(1956) was regarding as rather high, if you ask the dealer to place it on a plein he would answer "Am zehn?", Rather high then.

Not on line, but why not!

Today we have on line, and can play from home, that's me as I can  hardly walk, and I still win.

BM is nice but at a cost, which we can take as entertainment. There are allways the zero and not a fair odds!

 Online brings it's challenges.
 1. RRS or bet before spin, sometimes both combined
 2. Slingshot,  video feed manipulations....
This one is difficult to overcome, but for crazy ones, like me for example, it just make things more interesting.
 3. Problems to hide winning. ...this one is tought...
Brick/ mortar looks you as just one more guy, online you are visible. Need find casinos that pay anyway, dublin bet or uni bet are such examples....
On my expirience and estimation, online is 3 times more difficult to really beat and provides 5 times less edge at least... due to all tricks and limitations.
There are positive side to online as well. You do not have to go anywhere , can play from your home, you can use what you want, including laptop to run your stats, placing bets with mouse click, save favorite bets, easy sector placement...ets.
These positive sides overwight negative , ath least for me.
Obviously,  finding playable wheel online is much more difficult then in your local . There are many AP online targeting same wheels, wheels get removed more qweakly, so players are forced to deal with more difficult cases to reduce concurence. Time is a factor as well. Here it becomes interesting, it's a competition of minds. Who will kill opportunity first.
I  general, these who fight difficult cases , they become future. AP got more complicated in last year's,  and will become  even more difficult in years to come. Probably , it can become extinted, but if not , it will be prerogative of selected few. Train is going to depart... last call... next station is future. These who will not become players now, probably will never become players.
Casino avareness grows. On their side is money, it atracts best developers, mathematicians, statisticians, mind power to their side. Their softwares become more sofisticated. I encountered cases where AP were playing on the side of online casino. Countermeasures are too intelegent in implementation to be ignored.
Now they got power on their side.... l will be absolutely open with you , guys. I was offered position like that..  analyse wheels for predictability and develop strategies to doom AP players. As you can imagine, it didn't worked that we'll with me, but tendency  is alarming.
Anyway, l don't wanna scary anyone. Beware of online play dangers. Sometimes there is intelegent minds there, they fight back.
