A tip of my hat to REAL
« on: February 07, 2018, 11:53:11 PM »
I knew you were hiding the REAL information about what was going on.

I quote Real :

World Gaming Protection. Study it.

And all i have to say is this is the answer to everything here.

Just searching one of the people speaking at the event led me to this introduction to his book.

Adam Kucharski is a mathematician and award-winning science writer from the UK. He is the author of the 2016 book The Perfect Bet: How Science and Math Are Taking the Luck Out of Gambling

https://cdn.waterstones.com/special/pdf/9781781255469.pdf

This is the kind of stuff people should be looking at.

I posted this video in another thread.  I really enjoyed it.  He agrees with system player methodology. :D

As I have said repeatedly, AP folk are only expressing their OPINION when they say that systems must lose and they cannot prove otherwise BECAUSE the opportunity for a system to win is ALWAYS present.

Why someone would read a book written by not player about the game? Nothing more to do? I envy you guys...
You would be much better reading Real's book, even if he not "agree with systems".

Real said recently that he does not have a book or document. Are you saying that he is not telling the truth ?
How much doe his book cost ?

Have to agree with MrPerfect here, AK may well hold a PhD in mathematics, and although he provides some classical historic quotes, it is evident that he has never actually played the "true wheel of fortune."

Quote; "From the simple to the intricate, from the audacious to the absurd, GAMBLING is a production line for surprising ideas."
-I think a lot of those "surprising ideas" might be found in the wideranging posts of this forum!

I think it is absurd to say that you need to play a game before you can understand it .
All the more so when it disagrees with one's own opinion. He rubbishes  Mike's  Causation and mentions only
AP who used an electronic device which Mr'P doesn't.
Are you really saying that we should only read  books relating to roulette ? What closed  minds you people have .

He agrees with system player methodology.

Actually, not at all.  What he's said completely went over your head.  In the beginning, one guy exploited the ignorance of the horse system players.  The players that beat roulette beat it by exploiting inefficiencies in the wheel.  One beat using a laser to perform visual ballistics, the others beat the wheel through bias.

Scepticus,  there are books that you can buy for money and there are these that you can not.
These that you can not, usually are more interesting; ).

Real's book is ok. Certainly not gonna change your world.

He probably published it after a eureka moment, a bit like jekhb76, lol.

Then he thought about it (the eureka moment) and pulled it from publication.

You can borrow my copy if you like.

You guys should be thinking in terms " how to read books right way" .... before thinking how to beat roulette.
I read his book  343 times. It did change my world and continue to do so even now ( 5 years later).
