The Grand Parachute.
« on: January 05, 2018, 04:02:00 PM »
The Grand Parachute is a method in the same class as
different "breadwinner" methods. It never lose much
and winnings are not large if we count the spins
we have to do.

I have used it not very often, as it takes a lot
of time. A session with 150  spins is not uncommon.

On the other hand I have not lost a single session,
I have not played it to the end, and my largest drawdown
was 35 times the bet.

I have done this play on a single zero wheel and use 35 chips at 1 cent
on every bet.
We do not progress by increase the bet it works like other parachute methods.

We can use any bet size, and that's means we use a multiple of the lowest chip, not
multiple of the lowest bet allowed.

I use to have 0.35 Euro at every bet.

We choice a number to walk towards.
We stop at every new high balance.

We start with HIGH or LOW.
Every time we win we spin again at the same position, only if we not are on new high.
If we lose, we move one chip to the higher bet (dozen).

We move a bet to the higher bet every time we miss, or (which happen in some cases) we
do not advance the balance with the hit.

We move to the dozen until all are on the dozen, which is 35 losing spins.

When 35 on the dozen, we target the DS which contain the target number.
We can hit the target number early and be minus in balance, if that happen we just
ignore and play on.

If we do not reach new balance in 35 losing spins, the dozen is empty, and we have
35 chips on the DS.

We target then the quad. Move a chip to the quad, on any spins which reduce the balance.

This is going on, and we do the same as before target streets, splits and singles.

Some jump over quads, as they do not like  the situation when a close hit gives none
or less. I do not care that and use the quads.

The play use to take time, but the drawdown is normally not deep (It can of course bee, in very
rare cases we will go much deeper).

I have not lost a session, but it if of course possible to lose, if the
badest of the bad run occurs.

Nice idea.
How many units bankroll do you think is necessary?

I have been down  about 1000 (10 Euro) units at most, when playing 1 cent.  We should not use high value chips, as if it may takes time before we are on plus, we can be down a bit. And 1 cent chips times 35 is not 1 cent bets.

I would dare to try with 40 Euro.

We can use shorter multiple as well, it use to give faster results, but may involve a bit higher risk.

This was done using 0.1 chips and a pile of ten.  As the 0.1 is greater than 0.05, I should have been chosen NOZ, but I did not.

The balance was never below the start, got a double win at start.  The session was quite short and the win was OK.

I was testing making the walking in very long. Used 100 times
the min bet as fixed bet.

I think so long walking as 100 losing spins a step is only
doable on a NOZ, as the session can be very long, and in long
sessions the HA is noticeable. We must also have time as a NOZ session
can not last more than the time limit of 24 hours.
The min bet 0.05, so the fixed bet is 5 Euro.

I started well, was never below the starting balance, so it could
have been done with 5 Euro bankroll.
Targeting 100 Euro win, and went very rapid to 82 Euro, and then
it went back and forward until 350 spins, but never was
below the start. After reaching 82 it never went back under 50.

I have not made any simulations, but I think a session can in
some cases last a few  1000 spins.
