Same method regardless?
« on: December 04, 2017, 02:12:11 AM »
My question kinda links the lottery in with roulette. Lets say you visit a particular store for your lotto tickets. You have also visited other stores for your tickets.

You have MANY wins (not the jackpot) at one particular store. MANY small wins....over and over.

The other stores.....nothing. Does it make more sense to continue playing at that same store? I know the short answer, it makes no difference so I dont need the speech.

On to roulette....... if you keep on winning, does it really matter why? I dont mean, betting Bdays and anniversaries etc. People that suck at math have to rely more on luck rather than logic.

I can't help contemplating "why" while I am playing.  If it doesn't make sense to me, I can't play it. :)

.....but MANY will play a certain method and cannot explain "the why" of it. Is that bad/wrong?

(lol), lets not forget, many of them will explain a THEORY they have, that doesn't make them correct.

We need to be correct because if we aren't, sooner rather than later, roulette WILL correct us!

Some players are slow to be corrected. The hours,  days and weeks spent testing a system showed what a winning system it is and it is now failing. The player is in denial and this can be emotional, especially if he/she has a vested interest in the system.

There can be so many reasons: pride and arrogance are right up at the top of the list. They say pride comes before a fall...

I know the pain believe me!

In roulette, "ignorance is bliss" is only a limited time engagement!

Once you get beat down enough, hopes dashed to pieces enough times, you simply don't want to do that anymore... >.<

This forum is filled with threads of me getting my asphalt steamrolled and spouting various crazy wrong ideas. :'(

Be grateful for the steamrolling, you're in a better place now because of it.
