Gamblers Selling Systems -- What A Flying Joke!
« on: September 18, 2017, 07:31:32 PM »
"Patenting" a Roulette system.

"Hey, wanna make millions playing your winning method that you discovered to beat the game?"

"Na.........I'll just patent the system..........You know.......for residual income."

What a f*************************************cking joke. ::)

Gamblers are not allowed to have residual income.  Period.

I know of a guy that did crowd funding with his successful gambling method. :)

This is my problem with these forums........the math never ads-up.

If you had a winning method, then why would anyone need to crowd-fund it?

And please don't give me an answer that somehow sidesteps the clear financial incentive.

Clear financial incentive -- residual income.  Oops sorry gamblers aren't allowed to have that?

thelaw,
How do you imagine a "winning system"?
Going to the casino, following the 5 steps of the "winning method" and leave the casino a couple hours later  $10K richer?
There is no such thing.
The risk and reward of a “winning system”
A winning system can very well be a pain in the ass for various reasons.

@Kav

If you had a winning method (never seen one myself or I wouldn't be here) you could make a few thousand per hour if you live around many casinos (Like Las Vegas) without too much heat from the management.

So 40hrs per week would be a few million per year.......not sure why you would want to sell your method with the risk of others alerting the casinos to your betting pattern.

Another option would be putting together teams (see blackjack) to play for lower limits over time.

In regards to the links in your post, much of that info feeds on itself, so not a legit argument against being a pro gambler. I appreciate that you need content for your website, but most of that info is just your personal opinion.

Well, like I said in my post and in my writing the type of winning system you describe does not exist.
Sorry if you didn't find the articles I posted useful, but there I describe how I see winning systems and the life of pro gamblers - yes my personal knowledge and opinion.

Kav,

I don't agree with many of your articles, but some are fun to read.  It's the look/mood of the articles and layout that look good to me and give your website a unique feel.
