Record keeping denial
« on: March 07, 2017, 05:43:30 PM »
I have written before, that I try to not only keep a record of my play, but to copy it again elsewhere when I get home. Because it is easy to keep records but forget about them. By copying my stats I'm forced to spend the time to reexamine my play in a "sober and detached" mental state. Something quite hard to do on the heat of the game, whether you are keeping records or not.

My last game was too long and very unpleasant. I find it hard to copy my records and re-live the disastrous results. I have to but I don't want to. I guess this is what psychologists are calling "denial".

In fact I have postponed my visit to the casino twice, because I want first to examine more carefully my last game but haven't yet. Let's hope I will find the courage to do the painful job and be able to go play this weekend.

Very nice pic, kav.   :)

If I have your permission I like to save the pic and arrange it as a background on my notebook.  :)

I have wrote down in a document every visit in a casino from the first time. My bankroll, my winnings or losses, and which strategy i have played. (not every single spin). I know If I have won or lost more, I see my bad periods and so on. I can not deceive myself something wrong.  (Hope google translate was right  ;D )

Thanks for the reply funtomas. I would be honored to have my casino records as your background :-)
