Best Casino on The Strip??
« on: February 16, 2017, 02:03:59 PM »
If you only look at the casino part (so exclude the hotel itself, the shopping, diner facilities, etc) which would you pick?

Looking for single zero tables and the la partage rule are in favor i think. problem is looking for one thats not necessarily restricted for high rollers.

On the other hand, me personally i only consider going there, when i'm ok with it to play with a highroller bankroll. so i wouldn't mind that much. But hey, if there is an single zero wheel available in the non high roller area why bother.

Geoffrey,

Are you in LV?  I'm here right now if you need to know where they are.

MGM
Bellagio
Venetian
Pallazo
Wynn
Caesar's
Cosmo
Aria
Luxor sometimes..

Not all have la partage, but they all have single zero. La partage is available on request on most single zero wheels, even on some double zero wheels if you put up a good sized bankroll, and they'll even block a zero for you.  When wiring larger amounts to the casino cage, you can often get better odds, promotions, and even rebates up to as much as 15% on any loss.

On a side note:  they've got a triple zero wheel for players like Roulette Ghost over at the Venetian. ;)

Hey Real,

I'm not there at the moment, but i intend to go next summer. Trying to get along a decent bankroll. Cause from what i've red , most of the single zero table have pretty high minimum limits. Downtown Vegas seems a lot more budget friendly to play. but thats not really visiting vegas in my opinion. i would certainly stay on the strip.

Triple zero? are you serious? never seen one. I do know that i has been introduced on charity events. not losing playing the game straight is hard enough with a single zero. why on earth would anyone play a 3 zero wheel.

I would play it if all 3 zeros were the same number. ;)

Geoffrey ,Don't knock down town Fremont st , to me its a better way to play under the radar.plus the vibe is cool! I much prefer it to the strip, you can walk properties easier. And the game is the same, ultimately , wherever you play. I wired 75k to the cage at the rio, and it had little impact on my status. I mean limo service and suites are typical, in LV and they treat me great everywhere, but give me the grit of old Vegas any day! Of coarse that's just my opinion. If you want big action, single zero game, Caesars AC, is the best I have found. They use to give you 50k to even money, and I'm certain they will give it to you now if you ask.100 minimum. Actually a great room to make 2 to 3% on a 10 to 15k bankroll per hour, it's quiet  and you set your own pace, a great place to use a flat progression and play long con approach.

Guys,

The downtown casinos are a toilet.  The only nice casino down there is the Golden Nugget. ( It's actually a great place to stay.  Dual valets, good restaurants, easy in and out.)  Also, if you're "trying to stay under the radar", downtown isn't the place to do it.  Many of the casinos down there are grind joints. ( Until you can actually win consistently, don't worry about "the radar.")

Regarding AC: it's a very dangerous city, and it too is a toilet.  The customer service there is horrible, and the rooms are old and outdated.

If you're coming to LV, you want to stay close to the strip. If you're not renting a car, set up Uber on your phone.  If you are planning to stay in LV, drop me a PM and I can tell you which casinos have the newer beds.

Yes i"m convinced that real recommendations are spot on. From the info i got, Nuggets should be the only one considering downtown. Looks like real agrees on this, so i do think his expertise with casino's in Vegas has a lot of value

I was just in the Paris hotel in Las Vegas about 6 months ago. Nice rooms & beds. 9 months ago was at New York New York and the room was nice but the tables did not pay out at all. Ive walked through that hotel many times playing a little bit and have always lost money there. I personally like the MGM Grand and stayed there about 3 years ago for a conference and went to an after party in a suite at the top. First class service all around there. I also played a basic martingale on a roulette table and made some serious money (before I knew how dangerous martingaling was).
